Crackerjacks recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups of sugar.
½ cup of water.
2 tablespoons of butter.
3 tablespoons of corn syrup, white.
¾ teaspoon of baking soda.
Popcorn.
Nuts (optional).

Directions:

In a skillet, combine the sugar, water, butter and syrup; boil until it turns brown, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, then stir in the baking soda.

Stir and pour over popcorn. Add nuts if desired.
