Candy Corn recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar.
2/3 cup of white corn syrup.
1/3 cup of butter.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.
3 dashes of food coloring (optional).
2 ½ cups of powdered sugar.
¼ teaspoon of salt.
1/3 cup of powdered milk.
Directions:
In a pan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and butter, bring to boil stirring constantly.
Turn the heat low and boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla and food coloring.
Meanwhile, combine the powdered sugar, salt and powdered milk; then add to the mixture in pan.
Stir until cool enough to handle.
Knead until it can hold its shape.
Shape into triangles.
